Weddings at The Blazing Donkey

The Blazing Donkey Country Hotel, in Ham, near Sandwich, was one of Kent's first licensed civil ceremony venues. Since then, it has since firmly established itself as a truly first class wedding venue. It's easy to fall for the setting and facilities when you first visit and has hosted to numerous “high society” and “celebrity” weddings in recent years. The Blazing Donkey has been featured in Hello, OK and other glossy magazines.

You can choos eto marry either indoors or outdoors in the gazebo which is perched on the immaculately presented lawns. The beautifully tended gardens are full of colour and provide the perfect surrounding for your weddings.


Winter weddings are becoming much more fashionable now and so licensed marriage rooms are also available internally, where the a crackling log fires and garlanded hops providing an intense and intimate atmosphere for couples and their guests to enjoy.
