Cooling Castle Wedding Photographer...

added by Claire on August 30, 2012 at 23:30

Back in June, on Fathers Day, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Donna and Michael at one of my favourite venues, Cooling Castle Barn.

The day was sunny, warm, windy and filled with lots and lots of laughter!! In fact, laughter is one of things I remember about Donna and Michael's wedding! And bling!

I started the day with Michael, his best man and boys getting ready. I love the concentration on the boys faces in this shot!!

I made my way down the block to meet the bride and ladies who were all very calm, and laughing! Dressed in their 'blingy' t-shirts and slippers! In fact, 'bling' was the theme of the day - I loved it!!
The beautiful flowers and table displays were by the fantastic Flowers and Sparkle

Once everyone had their places, Donna walked into the ceremony with her eldest son and was met at the bottom of the stairs by her dad who did a little jig as he walked through the curtain!

Once the ceremony was over and after a few minutes, I grabbed the opportunity to spend about 10 minutes with the couple taking photographs of them alone whilst their guests filed out into the gardens to enjoy reception drinks in the sunshine!

The day was filled with emotion, love and laughter. It was a real pleasure to be a part of it and capture some great memories for Donna and Michael to remember.

Love, love, love this shot!

Wedding photography at Brandshatch Place and Spa Hotel...

added by Claire on August 30, 2012 at 21:53

Well, you know me - a bit slack on the blogging!!

It's about time I blogged this fabulous wedding. The wedding of Alex and Owen at Brandshatch Place and Spa Hotel, Kent.

The day was a beautiful warm, spring day. The sky was blue, the daffodils were out and everything was taking place at the hotel which was fantastic. It really makes everything run smoothly and with less stress when cutting out the travelling between different locations.

I met up with Owen who was having a sneaky pint with his best man and ushers. We did a few preparation shots before I headed off to see Alex, her mum and bridesmaids who were busy getting ready and drinking champagne! The way it should be!

I knew Alex would make a beautiful bride and I wasn't disappointed! She looked absolutely stunning in her slim fitting, lace gown.
We took a few portrait shots shortly before Alex's dad arrived to see his daughter as a bride - one of my favourite moments of a wedding!!

So then it was onto the ceremony in the Terrace Suite followed by the drinks reception and a few group photographs.

I left once the emotional speeches were over with a smile on my face knowing that I had captured some great photographs of this beautiful couple!

Yesterday I had a great time photographing Jo and Richard's beautiful English country garden theme wedding...held in the beautiful gardens of the family home in the garden of England!

Apart from the showery rain, it couldn't have been more beautiful.

Here's just a couple of little sneaky peaks...

Newborn baby photography in Kent...

added by Claire on August 8, 2012 at 23:19

Last week I photographed a gorgeous little cutie by the name of Megan who was just 10 days old.

Megan was such a good girl, she didn't murmur once whilst I was with her, a perfect little model for me!!

I also photographed Megan's beautiful and proud big sister, Daisy.

Here are a few of my favourites!

Tonya and Charles wedding at Brandshatch Place and Spa Hotel...

added by Claire on August 6, 2012 at 20:49

So, you know i'm a bit rubbish at keeping this blog up to date...I know, poor show but it will change!

Anyway, one year ago today Tonya and Charles got married at the lovely Brandshatch Place and Spa hotel, in Fawkham - near Brandshatch.

They had two ceremony's, one civil and one blessing. Both were equally lovely and full of emotion.

My day started at Tonya and Charles home to capture the bridal details and all the excitement of the girls getting ready. Surprisingly Charles was there, but only quickly as he delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers for his gorgeous bride.

I left their home and made my way to the hotel to capture the groom's details and capture Charles getting ready with his best man and brother. Gotta say, more nervous-ness in their room than there was at their home!

The bride arrived a little bit late and Tonya looked beautiful in her oyster coloured gown.

Check out her gorgeous pink shoes!
