Pregnancy photographs...

added by Claire on August 3, 2010 at 23:02

It's not just wedding photography that we do at Level 11, we also photograph baby bumps, babies, children and families.....we just don't shout about it but perhaps we ought to!!

Here is a recent maternity session that Claire photographed which was the first session of the baby's year book. The year book is where I photograph your baby up until his or her first baby. You have six portrait sessions, including your pregnancy session and ends with your baby's first birthday - which is usually a little birthday party. You receive a beautiful 8" story book filled with gorgeous photographs from each of the six sessions.

Contact us now for more information or to book your pregnancy or portrait session...

Sarah & Adam - E-shoot winners

added by Claire on June 18, 2010 at 19:27

Last weekend I met up with Sarah & Adam again who I'm pleased to say won the engagement portrait competition that I was offering at the Detling Wedding Show in April.

They wanted something a little bit different from the normal engagement portrait. We did some shots in and around their lovely old house and for some outside shots we headed across the road to the park.
Working as a camera man Adam is more used to being behind the camera than being in front and was a little bit nervous about the shoot however despite his protests he was great, Sarah was a natural and soon got into the swing of things. I think we got some great shots, I particularly love the bench shot!

Good luck with your wedding plans guys...

Claire & Miles, Brandshatch Place and Spa, Kent

added by Claire on May 30, 2010 at 00:14

On Friday 28th May Claire photographed the fab wedding of Claire & Miles at Brandshatch Place Hotel, Fawkham, Kent.
Such a fantastic couple who were so, so happy. Beautiful bride Claire looked gorgeous and neither Claire or Miles stopped smiling all day!!
I was so excited about their photographs that I couldn't wait to edit them...so here are a few sneaky previews.

Everyone had such a great time, especially Claire and Miles who loved every single minute and didn't want it to stop.

By coincidence they are now starting their honeymoon in Australia....congratulations guys, it was a real pleasure to work with you both.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Laraine & James's wedding at Cooling Castle Barn

added by Claire on April 17, 2010 at 00:16

On Wednesday I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Laraine and James's wedding at Cooling Castle Barn in Rochester.

I love photographing weddings at Cooling Castle, and as their recommended photographers we never get bored. The venue is perfect in everyway and the food is fantastic too!
The weather was a little disappointing, considering it had been so nice and warm (for April) in the lead up to the wedding however it did brighten up later in the day which was nice.

Laraine looked fabulous in her Alfred Angelo halterneck gown....her eyelashes looked great too Wink. James looked very smart in his suit and tie which matched the beautiful bridesmaids dresses perfectly! I heard him say that he couldn't wait to see Laraine as she walked down the aisle to meet him....and the big smile on his face as his bride appeared just said it all!

Overall it was a fantastic day and Laraine and James's make a fantastic couple....and to those who attended their intimate ceremony, it's true what the registrar said at the end of the ceremony...and no, she doesn't always say it!!

I'm still editing and catching up with myself however here is a little sneaky peak.

Congratulations guys and thanks for looking after me so well!

Justin & Emma's wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel

added by Claire on April 6, 2010 at 02:15

On Easter Sunday I was priviledged to cover the wedding of the very lovely Justin & Emma at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire.

I hadn't worked there before so I left home early which allowed me to get there in plenty of time to have a good look around the hotel, meet George - the best wedding co-ordinator I've ever met - and have a coffee before I met the bride in her suite.
It was a lovely dry, sunny day but was seriously cold and very windy which was a shame as it meant we didn't venture outside for many photographs. Still, it didn't matter because after the ceremony I took the bride and groom for a wander around the beautiful hotel for photographs.

Emma looked absolutely stunning in her bridal gown which suited her perfectly and her gorgeous sparkly Christian Louboutin shoes. Emma was accompanied by two adult bridesmaids who wore gorgeous long white dresses with a long black thin bow to compliment the black and white theme of the day. Emma also had two little flowergirls who both loooked beautiful. The bouquets of pink calla lillies with sparkly crystals finished off the outifts beautifully!
Justin looked handsome in his black three piece suit and very shiny shoes. Justin had two best men who did a great job with their speech and also by his son Louis, who looked like a mini James Bond in his suit. We had to get a shot of the boys with Justin's Aston Martin!

During the wedding breakfast the guests were entertained by the very clever magician Spencer Wood who had everyone asking "how did he do that?"! Very clever stuff and I'm sure guests are probably still scratching their heads now wondering how he did the bottle and clock tricks?!

The day was a very personal and initimate affair and couldn't have been more perfect!

One for the ladies.....who can resist these beauties!

Larraine & James pre-wedding shoot

added by Claire on March 29, 2010 at 22:56

Last week I met up with the lovely Larraine and James who are getting married in a few weeks at Cooling Castle Barn.

We did their pre-wedding shoot or engagement shoot (if you prefer to call it that) at Cooling Castle. We had a wander around, had a chat about their plans and took a few photographs.

Here are a few of my favourites.
Can't wait for their wedding now, fingers crossed for a dry day because snow is forecast for this week hence my shot of the lovely daffodils....proof that spring has actually sprung but if the forecast is true the daffs sadly won't last long!

Emma & Gordon Pre-Wedding Shoot...

added by Claire on March 1, 2010 at 21:56

On a cold, damp and grey Sunday afternoon I went out around North Greenwich with Emma and Gordon to shoot their pre-wedding photographs. We were going to go to Greenwich Park however Emma was a bit worried about her fab new shoes! Emma was a natural in the front of the camera and both of them needed very little direction...looking forward to the wedding!
The pre-wedding shoot gives us all an opportunity to work together before the wedding day which I find helps the bride and groom to relax during the wedding photographs on the day. The PWS  can take place locally or at the venue where the couple have chosen to get married.

Emma and Gordon are getting married at Chilston Park Hotel.
Looking forward to it!
